Man taken to hospital after being stabbed in Kings Heath

Police were called to Kings Heath High Street at 10.30pm last night (15 July) to a report of a stabbing.

It is believed two groups of men were involved in an altercation before a 26-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and remained there in a stable condition for observations overnight.

Investigations remain ongoing and anyone with information or who was at the location at the time of the altercation is asked to call police on 101, quoting 20BE/149927N/17
