Midlands Air Ambulance called after a pedestrian is hit by a car

Emergency Services were called to Bells Lane in Druids Heath shortly after 5pm on Wednesday to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a car.

The Midlands Air Ambulance, a paramedic officer, an ambulance crew, a community paramedic and police were all dispatched to the scene.

On arrival crews found that a car had mounted the curb and struck a women in her 30’s who suffered serious leg injuries.

She was given pain relief and stabilised before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital were she remains in a serious but stable condition.
