The Directors of Kings Heath Cricket and Sports Club were presented with Committee of the Year at the National Club awards on Thursday night. Hosted by the Club Mirror, the award was presented by Chris Hollins, for the hard work done by voluntary members who give up their time to support a thriving local community sports club.
The Club which has won a number of awards in the past, boasts a membership of 700 with strong social facilities and 5 diverse sports sections.
The committee are responsible for finance, sports facilities, and membership and along with manager Peter Hunt and his staff, growing the Club in the right direction
To have their hard work recognised nationally is a great honour and a sense of achievement in these difficult times for all Clubs in the West Midlands and Nationally
