Police have released images of a man they would like to identify following an assault at a pub in Stirchley last month.

On Sunday 4 September, a 25-year-old man was sat with his girlfriend in the Three Horse Shoes Pub on Pershore Road when it closed at 12.30am.

As the 25-year-old stood up to leave a glass was thrown at him, hitting him in the back of the head causing a deep gash.

Investigating Officer PC Zeke Dixon said: “This was a serious incident which resulted in the victim receiving emergency hospital treatment.

“He was in fact celebrating coming out of hospital following a serious illness – and the blood loss from the assault could have had deadly consequences.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact PC Dixon by emailing [email protected] quoting crime number 20BS/171582W/16 or by calling 101.
