A man has died after stabbing himself in the stomach yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Woodville Road in Kings Heath at around 11:20am following reports that a man in his 20’s had stabbed himself in the stomach and shot himself with a pellet gun.
The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene along with two doctors and two ambulances. The Air Ambulance remained on standby and the man was taken to hospital by land.
Unfortunately, nothing could be done to save his life.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner.
