Woodthorpe Junior and Infants school in Kings Heath will remain closed after the half term break after extensive damage to the school caused by flooding, headteacher Linda McGrath announced.
The news comes as no surprise after storms hit Birmingham causing flash flooding and millions of pounds of damage to properties and roads in and around the city.

After making the announcement on Twitter offers of help from local residents also (pardon the pun) flooded in.
