Police launch an investigation after another house is shot at, less than 24 hours after the first incident

Officers from the West Midlands Police’s Complex Investigation Team have launched a second investigation after a house is shot at less than 24 hours after an identical incident in Highters Heath.

Armed police received a report that shots were fired at a house in Ardencote Road, Highters Heath at around 9.25pm Tuesday night (August 29).

Like the first property shot at, police also recovered ballistic material which is now being examined by forensics experts.

Police also believe this was a targeted attack like the first house. It’s not known whether the incidents were linked and we’ve asked the police if they can confirm.

The road was closed overnight and into the late afternoon whilst the police’s Crime Investigation Department carried out a search of the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Midlands Police’s Complex Investigation Team on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
