A drunk driver has been arrested after crashing into street furniture and three cars.
Emergency services were called to Brandwood Road just after 4:30am this morning (22/12) to reports of a serious collision.
On arrival, police and ambulance crews found a telegraph pole had been uprooted and three cars had been seriously damaged.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Officers were called to Brandwood Road in Birmingham this morning (22 December) at around 4.30am after a car collided with parked cars and street furniture.
“A 30-year-old man was arrested from the car on suspicion of drink driving and taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are on-going to trace two further occupants from the car who fled the scene.
An investigation is underway and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101; quoting log 566 22/12.”
